!!!!!
Note: Super early serial number 50 !!!!! This is a 47% scale miniature Colt Single Action Army Revolver, Sheriff's
Model, Model 1873 with 3" barrel. 3 15/16" long overall with a 1 3/8" long rifled barrel of .21
caliber. Checkered hammer spur, no ejector rod or ejector rod housing. The barrel marked on the underside with
the maker's marks, in a much smaller font than normally seen. Made by Uberti in Italy. Beautiful very dark
straight grained varnished walnut grips. Nickel finish with blue screws. Black powder "pinched" frame.
The caliber marking 45 CAL is stamped on the left rear side of the triggerguard, no patent dates stamped on the left
front of the frame. The serial number, 50, is stamped on the frame, triggerguard, the bottom of the backstrap, the
loading gate, and the rear of the cylinder. Fully functional, but non-firing. This is the earliest Uberti Colt
Single Action Army Army I have ever seen. Note no patent dates, note a different Uberti marking on the underside
of the barrel, note the serial number on the rear of the cylinder. There features are only seen on very early production
pieces. Here's a chance to acquire a very early and rare variation! The nickel finished parts are
in mint condition. The blue screws are starting to turn plum gray/brown. There is also some crazing or checking to
the varnish on the grips, and a few very small chips of missing varnish. I have sent this piece to Larry
Smith to have him refinish the grips back to new and to also repolish and fire blue all the screws. Out for repair
