A 47% scale miniature Winchester model 1866 carbine made by Uberti in Italy.  This piece has been engraved by master engraver Roger Sampson of Minnesota.  The frame, sideplates, cartridge lifter, buttplate, and cleaning rod door beautifully and tastefully engraved with scrolls, leaves, and flowers.  Signed by the engraver on the bottom of the frame just in front of the cartridge lifter.  Steel parts are standard blue finish with the sides of the hammer polished bright.  The top of the barrel marked A. Uberti - Italy just ahead of the front sight.  9" round rifled barrel.  18" long overall.  A great piece engraved by the best miniature engraver I know.

This is an outstanding 1/2 scale Stevens tip up single shot rifle by master miniature maker Mike Barrett of Minnesota, engraved by master engraver Roger Sampson.  17 5/16" long overall with a 9 27/32" .22 caliber rifled barrel.  Blue 1/2 round 1/2 octagon barrel with the proper Stevens barrel address and caliber markings.  A single gold band inlaid into the barrel just ahead of the receiver.  The bottom of the barrel marked with the maker's mark on the underside just ahead of the receiver.  Blued sights, hammer, trigger, and screws.The receiver, triggerguard, and buttplate very ornately and intracately engraved and nickel plated.  The receiver and triggerguard with almost 100% coverage.  Beautiful flame grained oiled walnut buttstock.  Fully functional.  The is no chamber cut into the barrel as is typical on most of Mike's miniatures.  Cased in a hinged top walnut casing with key lock.  The interior French fit and lined in a green cloth.  A truely eye popping piece!

Octagon barrel, straight grip crescent butt stock, full magazine. Beautiful deluxe walnut stock and forearm. The frame, sideplates, cartridge lifter, nose cap, and buttplate are gold plated brass. A one-of-a-kind 1/2 scale 1886 Winchester take-down short rifle made by master miniature maker Mike Barrett. The markings and engraving were all properly done by master engraver Roger Sampson, the action tuned and surface metal prep done by the late Terry Farrand, the deep blue and firey case color work done by Doug Turnbull. A gorgeous miniature in every regard. Modestly but expertly engraved in the "1 of 1000" style with gold bands and engraving at the muzzle and breach ends of the 20 inch barrel. Caliber markings are .45-70. The stock and forearm are super fancy figured walnut, nicely checkered, with a beautiful hand rubbed oil finish. The .22 caliber octagon barrel is rifled. The buttstock features a pistol grip with grip cap and crescent buttplate. The frame, lever, buttplate, bolt, hammer, trigger, grip cap, nosecap, and magazine support band are all case hardened in vibrant colors. The action locking bolts are finished bright. The screws and loading gate door are a bright fire blue. The balance of the metal is finely polished black blue. Fully functional and operates smooth as glass. Truely an investment quality miniature.

This is a 2/5 scale Remington rolling block carbine made by Ken Horbal.  12 5/8" long overall with a 6 13/16" barrel.  Brass triggerguard, buttplate,  and plate on the left side with a nice aged patina.  The balance of the parts of steel with a blue finish starting to turn brown in place.  Dark nicely figured walnut buttstock, matching straight grained walnut forearm.  Blue blade type front sight dovetailed into the barrel.  Vernier adjustable long range rear tang sight.  No rear barrel sight.  Complete with a nice walnut casing, French fit with red felt lining.  also includes a dummy cartridge.
