This is a wonderful true antique 19th century miniature percussion muff pistol from the Jerry Tralins collection. 1 15/16" long overall with a 13/16" barrel with a square bore. These not only will shoot, but were commonly used as pocket watch keys. Nickel plated finish with great ivory grips. Has both half cock and full cock on the hammer. Presentation cased in a nice dark green leatherette case with gold leaf detailing and push button latch. The interior bottom of a goldish velvet, the interior lid of tan silk. The trigger has a loop where it could be attached to a watch chain. Excellent condition. The bottom with a white paper sticker denoting from the Jerry Tralins collection. This is a truely nice 1/3 scale miniature Remington Elliott derringer mady by master miniature maker Larry Smith. 1 9/16" long overall with a 13/16" long barrel. Beautifully engraved nickel plated frame and barrel. Fire blued hammer, trigger, and pins. Gorgeous two piece ivory grips with a nice patina and grain. Cased in the original Larry Smith casing with brass handled nickel plated cleaning/ejector rod and 9 dummy cartridges. The case originally made for 10 dummy cartridges and one is missing. Serial # 187 marked on the miniature derringer on the bottom of the frame and the bottom of the barrel. The top of the barrel marked with the proper Remington barrel address. The bottom of the case marked "-L.H.-, Smith, 187, E, in four lines, which is the makers name, the serial number, and "E" for engraved. A beautiful 2mm rimfire BelMex single shot side swing pistol by Tom Weston of Mexico City, Mexico. 2 1/4" long overall with a 1 5/16" barrel. The pistol is near mint in the original red cardboard box. Bright fire blue steel finish with dark wood two piece grips. The box includes the walnut handled blue steel cleaning/ejector rod with brass ferulle. The pill capsule for containing the 2mm blank cartridges is missing. New photos and additional information added!!! This is a great double cased set of Remington vest pocket derringers by master miniature maker L. H. Smith of Florida. Each one is 2 1/8" long overall with a 1 5/8" barrel. Engraved and gold plated frame and barrel. Blued triggers and screws. The hammers blued, then the sides polished in the white. Beautiful ivory grips with a nice aged patina and showing a very pretty grain. Includes two white steel cleaning/ejector rods with ivory handles, two brass tins, one with patches the other with several rounds of 2mm pinfire blank cartridges, and a nice walnut case with purple felt lining. The lids of both brass tins marked "Remington's". Both derringers have the Remington address on the top flat of the frame. The guns serial numbered "91" and "92" on the bottom of the barrels near the frame. The case marked "-L.H.-, Smith, VP-91 & 92, E", which is the makers name, the serial numbers, and "E" for engraved. This is a very small, probably 1/6 scale Scottish sash pistol made by master miniature maker Andrew Dyson in England. 4" long overall with a 2 5/8 barrel. The whole piece very finely and elaborately engraved. The stock of silver with a gold oval inset into the grip on each side. The cock, top jaw, and frizzen are steel and finished in the white. The barrel, ramrod, frizzen spring, top jaw screw, hammer screw, and belt hook fire blued with the blue starting to fade, expecially on the belt hook. The knob at the base of the grip unscrews to reveal a vent pick. Great crisp action. Additional photos available upon request. This is a great 1/2 scale Remington vest pocket single shot derringer by the late Daniel Osterman of Oregon. 2 1/8" long overall with a 1 5/8" barrel. Blue finish with the exceptions of the hammer and trigger which have the sides polished in the white. Serial #2 marked on the bottom of the barrel just ahead of the frame. D.E.O.+ marked on the bottom of the grip frame. Nicely figured walnut two piece grips. Complete with the original Osterman green cardboard lift top box with interior lid label and walnut block insert. There is a small blemish on the left side of the barrel.
