This is a one-of-a-kind set of 1/2 scale derringers made by the late Daniel Osterman.  When Daniel made these miniatures, he only serial numbered the first 50 of each, after that, they were unnumbered.  All six of these are serial number 50, the last piece in each series to be numbered.  All six pieces are special order silver plated and all except the Colt #1 have special order ivory grips.  The set includes the Remington Model 1895 over under double derringer, Remington Elliott derringer, Remington vest pocket derringer, Colt #1 derringer, Colt #2 derringer, and the Colt #3 derringer.  As I said above, all are serial # 50.  Cased in a nice walnut casing also by Osterman.  The miniature derringers are in mint new condition with only some slight tarnish to the silver.  The lid to the casing is slightly warped and is difficult to close.  Additional photos available upon request.

This is not a true miniature, but is rather a small full sized antique pocket or muff pistol made by reknown miniature maker John Maycock of England.  Scroll engraved brass frame with J Maycock engraved into the left side and Stockport engraved into the right side.  Engraved silver grip showing flags, shields, and drums.  Center hammer percussion action with fixed (as in non-folding) trigger.  Fire blued fluted screw off barrel measures 15/16" long and is about .22 caliber.  Overall length is 3 3/8".  Engraved charcoal blue hammer with scales and eyes looks like a fish.  Nicely cased in a walnut casing with an engraved push button latch and russet felt lining.  Accessories include a ivory cap box with a few of the tiny percussion caps, an ivory and brass powder flask,  an ivory handled steel bullet mold with sprue cutter, and the makers label on the inside of the case lid. Additional photos available upon request.
